Bauer Family | A Little Park in Irvine, CA

A long time coming.  The holiday sessions are still making their way to the blog.  This one is extra special to me because the cute little family is part of my big family.  Dad, Bryan, is my cousin and I'm so glad I got to spend some time with his little one and capture the special window of time before his baby sister arrives.

I don't even know exactly where this park is because I was a passenger in the car.  But, I think it might be one of my favorites because we had it all to ourselves and the tall trees with the streaming sunlight were so perfect for the morning shoot. 

I love you guys!  I can't wait for the little lady's arrival soon. xo

Chang Family | Santa Monica Beach, CA

Happy New Year Everyone!  I'm feeling so energized and hopeful for 2013.  I hope you are too.  It's going to be a great one!

I've got quite a bit of work to share.  I would've started posting the holiday sessions sooner.  But I wanted to be absolutely sure that everyone got their holiday cards out so I didn't ruin any surprises.  First up, here's the "Gap" inspired family session.  Jen did such a great job styling her family.  She thought they looked like a Gap ad.  But, I think she did an awesome job!  Especially with Ella's high top Converse sneakers.  She proves to me every time why she was voted "best dressed" in high school(yes, we go waaaayyyy back).  Jen, I'm so glad I get to take your annual family pictures!  I loved so many of them this year.

Foley Family | Irvine Regional Park | Irvine, CA

Oops.  I've been MIA on the blog lately because of  all the holiday sessions. It's a busy time of year.  But that means I've got a lot of beauties to post.  These are with the Foley family.  Allison and I went to high school together.  Oh, the benefits of reconnecting on Facebook :)  I got to spend some quality play time with her sweet family.  I love that I get to capture these moments.  Happy Holidays everyone.

Hammond Family | Seal Beach Pier | Seal Beach, California

The last time I photographed the Hammond family was two years ago in a park setting.  The boys were still so little :)  But now, with both of them old enough, we decided the beach would be perfect and I'm so glad we did.  This gorgeous family is so sweet and close and fun.  And the boys are gorgeous!  It was so great to see the four of you again.  Thanks Vicky and Matt.

Halloween 2012 | Montana Avenue, Santa Monica, CA

This is the second year I've photographed a random assortment of kids dressed up for Halloween at the trick-or-treat event on Montana Avenue.  I do this for myself.  It truly is pure joy to see the creativity and festive moods.  And this year I had a friend help me and she was just as into it (Thanks again, Lisa).  

I have to mention that the peacock and pink owl costumes were handmade.  Aren't they amazing?  I hope these little wonders give you inspiring ideas for next year.  Happy official start to the holiday season everyone!
